Angel Fall 3 days / 2 nights Minimum 4 pax. But if you are less than 4 you can be joined to another one of our groups. Departure: 00:11a.m. / Return: 05:00p.m. Of the third day) From the moment the plane is landing in Canaima you will realize that the 2.500 millions of years wonders that you observe down through your window you could have imagined them only in your dreams, but with a great imagination!, did you see the film the blue lagoon?, well, this view is better, with the tepuyes (very big flat mountains) at the bottom, down, the Lagoon of Canaima with its impressive water falls and already you begin to imagine your down there, enjoying all that spectacle, ¡but without the dinosaurian running behind you of course! And also, the Lagoon does not have sharks either, so don’t have to worry! We leave the camping; the luggage goes in a vehicle with the food to Puerto Ucaima. We begin the stroll at the Lagoon of Canaima, embark in a curiara (indigenous canoe), to sail next to the waterfalls (Hacha, Golondrina, Guadaima and Ucaima). Until arrive to the other side of the lagoon. We disembarked in port Hacha and we take a long walk of 20 minutes until the entrance of the Hacha´s waterfall to walk behind its impressive water curtain, you’ll get wet there thus you do not want, we continue until the sapito (another waterfall smaller than the first one) but very beautiful too to enjoy this wonderful natural landscape, soon we go to Port again and embark in the curiara that contains our load and sail for about 15 mts. Approximately until the expresses of Mayupa but as surely you are not going to want to pass them in curiara nor we either so we stop to turn aside and disembark in the savannah and make a long walk of 30 minutes until the other side (better), return to embark to continue sailing up the Carrao river until we reach the Well of the Happiness, in that wonderful place we will take a bath in its crystalline waters and continue navigation until the Orquídea Island (famous by its great variety of Orquídea), we make a shutdown there to take a light lunch. After that we continue bordering the Auyantepuy by the emotional torrents of the Churun river until arriving at Ratoncito Island, thence already we can enjoy the spectacular and wonderful Angel Waterfall, while the indigenous guides prepare the supper and accommodate the hammocks for us in the refuge we are going to sleep for the next two days, we can make an optional long walk so that it is a difficult way and strong (1 hour of raising y/1 hour of return) to arrive at the Laime Viewpoint, that is the accessible part but close to Salto Angel (you get wet there again and a lot, but you wont care because you are getting wet from to the most height waterfall in the world), the foam that raises the waterfall is of more than 500 mts of wide so you cannot be nearer than that. After that spectacle and very happy of course we return to the refuge and have a nice supper a delicious chicken and enjoy at night starred protected by a bonfire under the light the moonlight listening to the old histories of the ancestors of the indigenous guide. At the third day morning after breakfast we undertake our trip back to Canaima, pity!, who knows when you can come again.
