ISLA ORQUIDEA AND WELL OF HAPPINESS

(Duration 8 hours), departure 8:30 a.m. Minimum 4 pax. But if you are less than 4 you can be joined to another one of our groups.

We leave the Camping in a rustic vehicle along a dirty road for about 15 minutes passing through the indigenous community of Canaima and bordering the lagoon to Ucaima´s port where we will embark in a curiara (indigenous canoe) and sail for approximately by 15 minutes until the Expresses of Mayupa, there are expresses, (Very fast for us) so we avoid them (better), we disembarked in the savannah and walk for 30 minutes until the other side, do not worry curiara load other we only walk, we return to embark to continue sailing up the Carrao laughed until the well of the happiness, in that wonderful place will take a bath in its crystalline waters, very refreshing, continuing by the Carrao river until Orquídea´s island (famous by the great variety of Orquídeas it has) and while the indigenous prepare to us the lunch in the refuge we can take a walk around the island, (don’t worry the are not tigers near)  ¡but better we returned to enjoy a delicious chicken¡, by the way, didn’t I tell you that the Auyantepuy (the impressing  flat mountain where the Angel waterfall is) we always have it at sight  closely to us?. Hour to return to Canaima, It hurts!...
Necessary: This excursion is an adventure and the climate can vary quite a lot, you know, ¡it’s a jungle!, therefore is recommended to wear raincoat, sun protector cream,
comfortable clothes, Bermuda and t-shirt, Sport Suit of Bath, sport shoes,
insect repellent and a camera, if you take some medicine do not forget to take them.
