RIVER MOROCO AND MAYUPA

(Duration: 2 hours and ½)Departures: 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

We departure from the camping in a rustic vehicle by 15 minutes passing through the indigenous community of Canaima to Ucaima port, from there,  the immense Auyantepuy where the Angel Waterfall is seen as an enigmatic giant at the bottom like never, you’ll embark in a curiara (indigenous canoe) and sail up for about 20 minutes the Carrao´s river,  but he is too big and will impress as so much so we better turn aside to sail into the calm waters of the small one laughed Moroco’s river through  the exuberant vegetation of the zone accompanied by the majestic tepuyes (Kusary/kurun/Kuravaina /Manay) (indigenous names), Tepuy is a very big flat mountain, like quiet giants vestiges by old Gods by a millenarian culture, already is hour to return to laughed Carrao, !sure You’ll enjoy it!! we have so many small adventures like this that you will want to do every one of them, after will return to Mayupa to enjoy an pleasant bath in the Carrao´s river beach and if the natives allow us (they always do it) we’ll visit an Indian village where you can buy their crafts to see their plantations and the way they live, they are very happy people, proud of their culture, customs and surroundings, are not for less …...
Necessary: Suit of Bath, Short, t-shirt, Sport Shoes, sun protector cream, insect repellent and a Camera.
